Please save the dates; details and event registration links will be provided in advance.

As a reminder, our events may be limited in size based upon venue’s capacity and are only for our members.  You may need to sign-up/RSVP according to instructions for each event.  Events with a fee require you to pay to secure your spot.  Waiting lists may occur and if space becomes available, earliest registration payment will be selected. If space is not available, full refund will be issued. When registering on ClubRegistration.net, enable e-waivers from your event dashboard.  Waivers can be signed electronically.  ClubReg assistance can be received at (512-431-3143).

  • January 11th:   Porsches & Coffee – 10:00 a.m. @ Porsche Birmingham – Porsches & Coffee happens every 2nd Saturday at Porsche Birmingham. Start time is 10:00 a.m.  Park on Right side of building. Items will be raffled. Coffee and Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits are provided (while they last). Please join us.
  • January 16th: Third Thursday Social @ Bistro V – Please join your Porsche Club friends on Thursday, January 16th, 6:30 PM at Bistro V! Located at 521 Montgomery Highway, Vestavia Hills. Enjoy Crispy Grit Cake, Seafood Bisque, Fried Oysters, Fried Shrimp, Bayou La Batre Po Boys, Filet Mignon. Shrimp and Grits, Crab and Spinach Ravioli and much more.   • January 25th:   Polar Bear Run -Our VP & Driving Tour Chairman, Michael Guilsher, will lead us on our annual Polar Bear Run on Sat., January 25th! We will depart Porsche B’ham (with full tanks) @ 8:30am on Sat (1/25) with Mt. Cheaha as the destination followed by lunch at the Back Porch grill on Lake Logan Martin. Please arrive early to attend the 8:15am drivers meeting.
    • – It is imperative that all drivers AND PASSENGERS register on www.clubregistration.net so that PCA gets their waivers signed & we have a head count for lunch!!
    • – PCA national requires that everyone eSign their waiver AND then you will receive an email or text for you to click & confirm your signature
    • – If not already in club reg, participants will need to create an account with independent log-in credentials
    • – If the waiver is not completed you will unfortunately NOT be confirmed
    • – The dealership will open for us – restrooms & coffee will be available

  • February 8th:  Porsches & Coffee – 10:00 a.m. @ Porsche Birmingham – with special guest Porsche Track Experience! Please join us for Porsches, Coffee, Comradery, and a chicken biscuit (while they last) with special guest Porsche Track Experience! PTX will join us on Sat., February 8th at Porsche Birmingham for an inside look and open discussion regarding PTX courses, give aways and deals for PCA members. Items will be raffled! Porsches & Coffee happens every 2nd Saturday at Porsche Birmingham. Start time is 10:00 a.m.  Park on Right side of building.   • February 20th: Third Thursday Social – Ocean Restaurant – Please join your Porsche Club friends on Thursday, February 20th at 6:00 PM at Ocean Restaurant! Located at 1218 20th Street South, Birmingham. Ocean has been voted Best Restaurant, Best Chef and the recipient of AAA Four Diamond Award for the past 12 years! Come Enjoy Fresh Seafood in an Exciting & Contemporary Atmosphere! IMPORTANT! Seating is limited to 26 guests so please email David Smith @ smithd@wrsco.com the number attending in your party ASAP for confirmation.   • March 8th: Porsches & Coffee – 10:00 a.m. @ Porsche Birmingham with Tech Inspection presentation by Porsche Birmingham! Our annual Tech Session will be held in conjunction with Porsches & Coffee on Saturday, March 8th at 10:ooam. Club Technical Chair, Rodney McFarland, will lead the event. Rodney and the Service Team will have an interesting line-up of cars, parts, equipment, and technical information for all members. Raffle items, Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits (while they last) and coffee will be available. YOU MUST register for the event HERE Please be sure to sign the ewaiver in clubreg, and verify your signature via text or email to secure your registration. Family members and guests will need to have a ClubReg account and have signed the e-waiver to be admitted.   • March 20th: Third Thursday Social – Come join your Porsche Club friends at The Fish Market on Highway 280 on Thurs., March 20th at 6:30PM. Fresh seafood, greek entrees and wonderful soups and salads are ready to enjoy.   • May 2-4: Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix – We will once again offer hospitality at the Indy race this year in the Barber Room located in the basement of Barber Motorsports Museum, as well as the outside area just to the east of the pedestrian bridge at the museum. It will be a great set up with an air-conditioned indoor area, outdoor area with tent, and private restrooms. Our attendees will also have access to the museum and bridge during the weekend. You must have race tickets to attend, and tickets can ONLY be purchased through the Indy race hosts HERE.  Don’t forget to purchase car corral tickets if you wish.
  • May 3rd: We will have our annual police escorted Porter Fell Memorial Drive from Porsche Birmingham to Indy on Saturday morning, May 3rd. For participation in this event we kindly request a $20 donation which will go to the family of fallen Irondale Police Officer Lieutenant Mark Meadows. Register for the drive HERE.

  • July 19th: Porsche Experience Center (PEC) Atlanta – Our annual visit to Porsche Experience Center (PEC) is scheduled for July 19. Event registration is now available HERE. The PEC is providing the Alabama Region with an exclusive early rental opportunity for the Porsche of our choice for track driving. When regular PEC rental opens to the public in a few weeks, your desired Porsche model will probably not be available. Summer is a high attendance time at the PEC. So, take advantage of this early rental limited time offer. Our visit will include Road Course driving (West or South track), Custom PEC Tour, and SIM Racing. We will have lunch in the Restaurant 356. Overnight accommodations are available at the Kimpton Overland, which is located across the parking lot from the PEC. More detailed information (contact phone numbers) will be provided by email after your registration is complete. Hope you will make plans to join us.
